Grades Teacher for the 2024/25 School Year
Sierra Waldorf is seeking a grades teacher set to begin for the 2024/25 school year!
The ideal candidate will have at least a Bachelor’s degree and completed Waldorf teacher training.
Purpose and Scope of Job: The grades class teacher is responsible for planning the daily, weekly and block rhythms of the year. These plans are developed in accordance with the principles of Waldorf pedagogy and in light of the needs of the class. The grades class teacher is also responsible for deepening their understanding of Anthroposophy, child development, and seeking out new materials for their teaching. Teachers commit to faculty responsibilities, including participation in weekly faculty meetings, grades mentoring group, and committee service.
