Enrollment & Outreach
Goal: Increase and stabilize the number of students in SWS and create a stronger social/educational environment while bolstering the continued financial outlook and security
- Full sturdy grades classes with 18-20 students per class
- Kindergarten graduates 16-20 students each year that are ready for first grade
- Expand SWS presence through Tuolumne and Calaveras Counties
Compensation and Talent Management
Goal: We are engaged in an intentional effort to grow and mature our school through a commitment to our employees, as a sustainable presence in our community and region.
- Responsible pay adjustments
- ~Three employees annually pursuing Waldorf certificates or college degrees
- Internal talent development planning
- Consistent clear policies
- Ongoing recruiting grows our talent pool
Curriculum Plan Transparency
Goal: Create a scope and sequence document that houses the full curriculum; includes the how and why on deliverance of the curriculum and is readily accessible to all community members.
- Horizontal and vertical curriculum complete and available to all
- Ongoing review and organization of teacher resources
- Teacher training opportunities
- Standardized teacher mentoring practices
- Inventory review and supplemental curriculum supplies purchased
Educational Support A.K.A. The Beehive
Goal: Create a solution for much needed educational support outside the classroom that can serve each student and their unique needs.
- A fully operational and staffed educational support space, with opportunity for purposeful work for students at times of need during the day
- Providing a space for children with modified schedules
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
Goal: Strengthen the diversity of the school community to reflect a wide range of cultures and traditions within and among faculty, students, and community connections
- Our culture reflects our commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion (curriculum, campus, activities and events)
- Safe spaces and channels of communication for students and families are vibrant
- We are fully integrating and supporting neurodiverse students, families, and staff – allowing full access to the talent and gifts of our community members.
