The Vision of Sierra Waldorf School

Sierra Waldorf School is a garden where the community gathers to grow each other.
We behold our work here in the greatest light of the divine.

We behold each encounter as an opportunity to deepen our consciousness
and provide ourselves with the fertile ground in which to enliven the impulses that
subtly guide human history and evolution in balance with the natural world.

Working in individual freedom, we create, maintain and renew a school in which
human beings are given the opportunity to reach the potential of their capacities
to meet their destines, individually and collectively.

To this end, we acknowledge and work with the Anthroposophical indications
of Rudolf Steiner as a profound resource to our pursuit of self-knowledge, social and
pedagogical insights, and the working of the spiritual world in creation.

The Mission Statement of Sierra Waldorf School

In our children lies the hope of humanity.
The Sierra Waldorf School is dedicated to cultivating the capacities of each child
through a developmentally respectful education
based on the work of Rudolf Steiner, the founder of Waldorf education.

We create an environment that respects the individuality of each child,
their higher spiritual nature and their connection to the world as a whole.

The Sierra Waldorf School strives to create a community of caring adults who are
committed to self-development, social responsibility and servant leadership.
